Milton Fire Department:
The Fire Department has three stations to serve the residents of Milton.
Central Station...405 Steeles Avenue, Milton
This station is the headquarters of the department and houses the Administrative Office and Communication Centre as well as the Fire Prevention and Public Education, Training and Support Services Divisions.
Station No. 2...Guelph Line, Campbellville
Full time staff does not man this station. In the event of an emergency, 19 part-time firefighters respond to emergencies from this station. This station will be replaced with a new Station No. 2 in late Spring 2003.
Station No. 3...Derry Road, Milton
Station No. 3, is manned by a full time suppression crew 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A full time complement of 20 firefighters and a part time complement of 19 firefighters respond to emergencies from this station.

Ambulance Services
Since our assumption in April 2000, increased service staffing levels have been implemented in Oakville, Milton and Burlington and further staffing enhancements have been approved and are scheduled for this year.
Halton presently has 127 permanent, part-time and volunteer staff members.
